I am an engineer with a specialization in Computer and Communication Systems Engineering, having completed my studies at the Technical University of Braunschweig in 2010. I am also an experienced senior manager and business developer, with a passion for traveling, languages, sports, and coding.

My guiding principle at work is a quote by Albert Einstein: "Once you stop learning, you start dying."

Programming is one of my favorite leisure pursuits.

I have a pronounced ability to abstract, which includes a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures, embedded systems, and various programming languages, ranging from high-level to hardware-centric and scripting languages. This skill enables me to quickly grasp the context of complex systems and functionalities, such as functional specifications, module specifications, source code, UML diagrams, and more.

This aptitude for managing complexity was honed during my academic years, further developed throughout my engineering career, and is now a quality I foster in my role as a leader to my colleagues.

As a collaborative, success-driven, and highly communicative engineer fluent in four languages, I have garnered over a decade of experience in automotive R&D, working for multiple prestigious German OEMs. My career has spanned roles such as Research Staff Member, Development Engineer, Integration Coordinator, Requirements Engineer, Project Leader, Manager, Release Manager, Solutions Architect, Trace Analyst, and Senior Manager.

I am dedicated to creating innovative technical solutions for the vehicles of tomorrow, regardless of their platform, architecture, hardware design, ECUs, or transport protocols as well as software applications.

My professional experience has covered both the left and the right sides of the V-model and includes roles within Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe. This breadth of experience has endowed me with extensive knowledge and a detailed problem-solving approach when necessary.

Ultimately, I am a T-shaped professional who thrives on collaboration with experts across various disciplines, applying and adapting my expertise to new challenges.

Currently, I am advancing my education as a PhD candidate in the field of "Artificial Intelligence for Predicting Pedestrian Behavior in the Context of Autonomous Driving" at the University of Lübeck.
